In Loving Memory of Rosa Adamo, born on November 27, 1938, in Salemi, Trapani, Sicily.

It’s with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rosa Adamo on May 2, 2025. A cherished mother, devoted grandmother, and proud great-grandmother, Rosa was the heart of our family — a graceful, selfless woman whose warmth and unwavering love embraced everyone around her.

 Rosa lived a life defined by compassion, acceptance, and strength. She never judged, always listened, and loved unconditionally. Her gentle spirit and radiant kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Rosa was pre-deceased in death by her husband Antonio Adamo. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Benedetto (Nita), Franca (Giovanni), Giuseppina, Salvatore, Marco (Susan), Rita (Joe), Robertino (Anna), and Rosemary (Josey P.); her grandchildren: Jessica, Joshua (Jessica), Summer, Ernesto, Stephanie (Andrew), Michael (Leah), Sabina,(Steve) Dave, Michael (Kirsty)Sierra (Joshua), Cristina (Amrit), Marco Jr, Frank (Cynthia), Daniel, Anthony (Mikki), Anthony, Julian, Vanessa, Adrian (Sophia), Rocky, Rosa Jr.; and her adored great-grandchildren: Sophia, Emma, Mikayla, Ava, Gia, Mia, Elvis, Adriano, Sienna, Francesco, Brayden, Kai and Kensley.

Rosa is pre-deceased in death by her brothers Frank and Gaspere Ditta and survived by her remaining siblings Vincenzo Ditta (Mary), Tony Ditta, Caterina Spadafora (Vito), Anna Caradonna (Tony), Pina Cipolla (Joe), and sister-in-law Olga Ditta.

Rosa’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her boundless love, grace, and beautiful soul.

Rosa will rest eternally beside her beloved husband, Antonio Adamo.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Rosa's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St. between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Thursday May 8, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Friday May 9, 2025 at 11:00am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
