Rosella Cinelli

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at her home in Woodbridge on May 27, 2025, at the age of 65 years young. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Elena, her siblings Tina and Peter (Laura), and is now reunited with her father, Antonio Paglia.

Rosella was the beloved spouse of Gino Cinelli, and the loving mother of Daniele (Lisa) and Fabio (Trudy). She was the cherished grandmother to Matteo, Dante, Luca and Nico, who brought her immense happiness and pride. Proud and adoring aunt to Julia and Alexander, Rosella's greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Rosella was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada with her family as a baby. At the young age of 18, she married her first love, Gino, and they began a beautiful journey together that spanned nearly five decades.

Rosella was the family's north star, and the heart and soul of her home. She was fiercely loyal yet gentle, selflessly focusing on the needs of her family well before her own. Anyone in her presence would immediately feel her unlimited hospitality and love. She devoted her life to her family, creating a warm and nurturing home that was always full of joy, laughter, wonderful food prepared with love, and memories in the making. Rosella's role as "nonna" was the centre of her life, always ensuring her kitchen was stocked with her grandkids' favourite treats, and showering them with undivided attention and love.

A gracious and beautiful person, inside and out, Rosella will be remembered for her quiet inner strength, overt kindness and generosity as well as her compassion for others. Rosella's spirit will live on through her family and friends, who will carry her legacy of love and kindness in their hearts. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Center (5826 Bathurst St., between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Monday June 2, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Tuesday June 3 , 2025 at 9:30am with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations in Rosella's name be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
