Silvia Armellin

With her family by her side, Silva passed away peacefully in her 99th year at Villa Forum Long Term Care Residence in Mississauga. She will be dearly missed by her son Gianfranco, grandchildren Matthew and Michael (Carly), as well as many family members and lifelong friends. She is reunited with her husband Bruno (d.1977), daughter in-law Tina (d.2022) and grandson Christian (d.2009).

Born in Caviola, Italy, Silvia spent her up bringing in Conegliano, Italy. Married in 1949 to Bruno, they immigrated to Tanzania where they welcomed Gianfranco into the world. After several years, they left for new beginnings and immigrated to Toronto in 1958. They worked hard and made a beautiful life in Canada.

She will be fondly remembered for her caring dedication to her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, reading, and travelling.

The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Forum for their compassion in caring for Silvia over the past 15 years.
