It is with sadness that the family of Tony Mastrodicasa announces his passing on September 23, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario.

A man of letters and a gifted storyteller, Tony lived life on his own unique path — one defined by curiosity, creativity, and a deep appreciation for words and ideas. His humor, insight, and love of storytelling touched all who knew him.

A dedicated caregiver to his mother Francesca (predeceased), Tony will be remembered by his siblings Angelo (Antoinette), Angela (Tino), and Alfredo (Josephine), along with extended family and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony’s memory may be made to the North York Harvest Food Bank.
