Vincenza (Gina) Giancola

Vincenza (Gina) Giancola, a cherished matriarch, left this world peacefully on December 20, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on October 13, 1931, Gina was a strong-willed, feisty, and decisive woman whose spirited nature touched all who knew her. Her devotion to her family and her religious faith were the cornerstones of her life, guiding her every action and decision.

Gina’s culinary talents were unmatched; she could whip up a meal that brought warmth and comfort into the hearts of her loved ones. Her gardening skills showcased her nurturing spirit, as she poured her love and care into every plant, creating a garden that flourished with life, much like the home she built for her family.

She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Amedeo, whose memory she held dear. Gina's legacy continues through her loving family—her devoted children Maria (Paul), Angelo (Sonia) and Antonio (Antonietta). The affection she showed to her family is evident in the lives of her grandchildren, Cathy (Chris), Kevin (Patty), Alicia (Anthony), and Amanda, as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Cullen, and Valentina.

Gina Giancola's presence will forever be missed, but her spirit will always live on in the family she adored and the countless memories she leaves behind. May her strong will and love continue to inspire us all.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Monday December 29, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel on Tuesday December 30, 2025 at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
