Vincenzo (Enzo) Marrello

Jan 25, 1932 — Aug 29, 2026

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Vincenzo “Enzo” Marrello on August 29, 2026.

At the heart of Enzo’s life was his family. He was the beloved husband of Chiara, with whom he shared an extraordinary 70 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with family, traditions, and memories that will continue through the generations.

He was preceded in death by his parents Giuseppe, Margherita, His brothers Gaetano, Franco Mario, Salvatore, Gino, his sister Giuseppina, and surviving sister Maria.

Enzo was a loving father to Lucia (the late Sergio) and Roberto (Ettorina). He took great pride in his grandchildren, Francesco (Kim), Riccardo (Daniella), Vincenzo (Tara), and Michael, and was a cherished great-grandfather to Domenic, Ariella, Adriano, Marco, Massimo, Nathaniel, Christian, and soon to arrive baby Chiara.

Enzo appreciated many of life’s simple pleasures. He could often be found cooking pasta, tending carefully to his vegetable garden, making wine, or filling the room with the sound of his accordion. These were more than hobbies; they were part of the traditions and everyday moments through which Enzo shared himself with the people around him.

His long life leaves his family with many memories to treasure — meals shared together, time spent in the garden, music played on the accordion, and the familiar traditions that made gatherings special.

Enzo will be deeply missed by his beloved Chiara and by the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who were such an important part of his life. The traditions he enjoyed and the memories created over a lifetime will continue to be carried forward by those who loved him.

May his memory forever remain a blessing and a source of comfort to his family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Vincenzo (Enzo) Marrello to the Alzheimer's Society and Canadian Cancer Society
