Vincenzo Ricciardi

Vincenzo Ricciardi, affectionately known as "Jimmy," passed away peacefully at his home in Toronto, Ontario, on May 11, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on August 28, 1940, in Vasto Abruzzo, Italy, Vincenzo dedicated over 40 years of his life to the construction industry. He was known for his hardworking nature and unwavering commitment to his craft.

Vincenzo's personality was marked by his generosity and willingness to assist his family whenever needed. He cherished the moments spent with loved ones, relishing the joy of having company around him. His home was often filled with laughter and warmth, embodying the essence of family gatherings.

In addition to his career, Vincenzo found immense joy in his hobbies. He had a profound love for gardening, and his vegetable garden brought him great satisfaction. Among the treasures in his yard stood a magnificent magnolia tree, which bloomed beautifully and became a source of admiration for all who passed by.

Vincenzo is survived by his beloved sons, James (Lisa) and Tom (Josie), along with his dear siblings: Karina, Virginia, Nick (Anna), and Anna. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law who were touched by his warm spirit and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Maria Cirillo, as well as his siblings Maria and Angelo. Vincenzo is also lovingly remembered by his beloved dogs, Rambo and Harley, who were loyal companions throughout his life.

Family and friends will gather to honor Vincenzo’s memory during visitation on May 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, located at 5826 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON. A funeral service will take place on May 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the same location, followed by a burial at Westminster Cemetery & Mausoleum at 12:00 PM.

Vincenzo Ricciardi leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to his family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Vincenzo’s wife, Maria Cirillo, be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada
