Vito Farella

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vito Farella, who left us on August 18, 2025, in Woodbridge, Ontario. Born on May 17, 1962, in Toronto, Vito lived a life that exemplified the beauty of simplicity, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

Vito was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Antonella, and a proud father to his two cherished children, Joseph and Antonio. His love for them was evident in every moment they shared, and he took great joy in being their guiding light. Vito possessed a nurturing spirit that extended beyond his immediate family; he was a beloved son to his mother, Domenica, and a caring brother to his sister Angela, who, alongside her husband Michael, will forever hold dear the memories of their time spent together.

Vito's legacy continues in the hearts of his beloved nieces and nephews, who were fortunate to experience his warmth, kindness, and support throughout their lives. He was their biggest fan, always present at events and activities, particularly cheering his nephew on during live music performances, where his pride shone through like a beacon.

A man of simple pleasures, Vito found joy in the little things. Whether it was a round of golf, watching the Boston Bruins take to the ice, or enjoying the sound of live music, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm and an open heart. His interests reflected the essence of who he was—a lover of life, forever rooting for the things and people that brought him happiness.

Vito's physical presence may have left us, but his spirit will forever resonate in the laughter shared, the stories told, and the love woven into the very fabric of those he cherished. He has been reunited in heaven with his father, Antonio, and together, they will watch over us all.

As we celebrate Vito’s life, let us carry forward his spirit of kindness and love, sharing his memory with all who knew him, and finding solace in the lives he touched. He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.

Visitation will be held at Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre (5826 Bathurst St, between Finch and Steeles on the west side), located on the grounds of Westminster Cemetery, it is the first building on your left. The family will receive guests on Friday August 22, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Trillium Chapel of Westminster on Saturday August 23, 2025 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
