Vito Spatafora

Vito Spatafora, aged 94, passed away peacefully at the family home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, surrounded by the boundless love and compassion of those who cared for him. Born in Vita, Trapani, Italy, Vito carried with him a deep devotion to family, friendship, and a visionary sense of life.

Vito was the beloved husband of Caterina, his wife of 64 years and his unwavering companion through every season of life. Her steadfast dedication, especially in recent years as Vito faced cognitive decline, was a profound testament to their enduring bond. Supported by a devoted team of care workers, Caterina remained his constant source of comfort and tender care.

He was a proud father to Christopher (Denise Mary), Antonina, and Salvatore (Reneé), and cherished Nonno to five grandchildren: Michael (Neha), Laura Katherine (Ian), Julia Rose (Will), Aleksandar Shawn (Shiobhan), and Ariana Victoria (Tobias).

Vito will be remembered for his warmth, his commitment to those he loved, and his quiet strength. His life was a testament to perseverance, love, and importance of nurturing the generations to come.

May he rest in peace, carried forward in the hearts of his family and friends.
